Forest City Regional's Cafeteria is proud to be part of the "Going Green" movement.
The cafeteria in 2009 made the decision to start recycling cardboard, cans, plastic, and glass all in an effort to reduce waste in the landfills. On average the cafeteria recycles 100 pounds of material a week just from what they use in preparing meals.
The cafeteria has set its sights on expanding their program by recycling plastic bottles and cans in the lunch rooms during mealtime.
