About the Principal

 Mr. Kelly started as the Forest City Regional Elementary School Principal in July of 2016. He lives in Moscow, PA with his wife and two children.  

 After graduating from Marywood University with a degree in Elementary Education, Mr. Kelly started his career as an elementary teacher for six years, teaching grades 4 through 6. 

 After obtaining his masters in school counseling from Gwynedd-Mercy University outside of Philadelphia, Mr. Kelly spent over four years as a middle school counselor. During this time, he obtained his K-12 principal certificate. Mr. Kelly has been a Principal in Pennsylvania for the past seven years.

 As principal of the FCR Elementary School, he values being visible in the school, collaborating with staff members and students, and sharing leadership within the school. Over the past two years, the school has added several supports for students including a student assistance program, an anonymous anti-bully referral system, a school wide positive behavior support system, and have further developed our social emotional learning and drug & alcohol prevention programs.

 Mr. Kelly promises each staff member strives every day to make our students feel safe, welcomed, and challenged. He wishes each student success this school year as each of us continue our journey as lifelong learners.
