Students are working on letter recognition, sounds, rhyming, phonemic awareness activities, and sight words either through games and/or the Harcourt Trophies Intervention Kit.

 Students are working on letter recognition, sounds, rhyming, short and long vowel sounds, phonemic Awareness and phonics activities, sight words and reading leveled readers either through games and/or the Harcourt Trophies Intervention Kit.

Students will read stories from the Harcourt Trophies Intervention Kit and work on worksheets pertaining to reading and vocabulary skills they are working on in class. They will also have assessments to check on phonics and comprehension skills. We also work on various literacy skills such as main idea, author's purpose and narrative elements.

 Students will read stories from the Harcourt Trophies Intervention Kit and work on worksheets pertaining to reading and vocabulary skills they are working on in class. They will also have assessments to check on phonics and comprehension skills. We will also work on various literacy skills such as fact and opinion, multiple meaning words, antonyms, synonyms etc. through use of file folder games and board games.

Students will read stories from the Harcourt Reading Trophies Kit and their anthologies. They will complete worksheets pertaining to reading and vocabulary skills they are working on in class. They will also have assessments to check on phonics and comprehension skills. We will also work on various literacy skills such as main idea, analogies, prefixes, suffixes, figurative language etc. through the use of file folder games and board games.

Students will read stories from the Harcourt Trophies/Story Town Intervention Kit. They will complete worksheets pertaining to reading and vocabulary skills they are working on in class. They will also read leveled readers and work on various literacy skills such as context clues, syllabication, analogies, combining sentences etc through use of worksheets and or board games.

Students will read stories from the Harcourt Trophies/ Story Town Intervention Kit. They will also read leveled readers and complete worksheets pertaining to the reading and vocabulary skills they are working on in class. They will also work on various literacy skills such as using descriptive language, figurative language, editing letters and writing.
