Kindergarten Sight Words:
Sight words (also called high frequency words or power words) are words students see most often in print and in their own writing. Students must memorize them and know them automatically.  Having a vast sight word vocabulary increases a child's rate of fluency, which also improves comprehension.  All sight word cards will be sent home on a ring for practice. Please keep the words in your child's blue reading bag and practice every day.

Please continue reading with your child for the 100 Step Challenge and remember to log in his/her Reading folder every 15 minutes read. You can read to your child or have him/her read the books in their blue reading bags.
