Kaitlyn Hentschel

Kaitlyn is a young lady that does not let any obstacles get in the way of her success. Kaitlyn is extremely driven person that always takes the opportunity to enjoy the current experience she is in. Kaitlyn takes the time to smell the roses, to appreciate the moment and to always extend that smile that can and always does light up a room. Kaitlyn is a caring, deeply understanding, fun person that has a great sense of humor that is welcoming and warm to others. Due to Kaitlyn warm personality and great sense of humor, her classmates and friends enjoy being around her and her teachers describe her as an absolute pleasure to have in class. Kaitlyn has had a tremendously positive academic experience at Forest City Regional High School. Kaitlyn has made the honor roll all 4 years in High School and made High Honor Roll for the first time this year in quarter 1, which was a goal for her. Kaitlyn has also participated in the Art Club for 4 years, the 4-H Photography Club for 1 year and our Junior leadership program. Kaitlyn was also active in our sporting programs at Forest City Regional. Kaitlyn participated in Cross County running for one year and played on the varsity soccer team in 11th and 12th grade.
Kaitlyn has developed a passion for working in our TV studio this year. She is involved in every aspect of the development and functioning of the TV morning program. Kaitlyn expressed that she loves the morning program because you can be as creative as you want and it brings joy to others. A quick funny story about the TV Studio...around the holidays, Kaitlyn came up to me and said, “Dr. Elia, would you mind if I take your head and put it on an elf and make it dance for throughout the morning broadcast.” I looked at her...and she looked back at me...and she said come on Dr. Elia it will be so much fun...please with a smile...and I thought...how could I turn down that face….if broadcasting doesn’t work for Kaitlyn in the future, she will be wildly successful in the sales field. Kaitlyn has applied and has been accepted to Bloomsburg University, where she will be majoring in Communications. Her future goal is to work for the Children’s Miracle Network or for a TV studio on their broadcast team.
